about
I’ve reached that point now where I want to create things and enjoy the smile it puts on people’s faces. The forced isolation of this past year has been largely relieved by the joy and passion I have for painting and drawing. I’ve experimented with a range of different techniques, media and sources of subject matter and have found some really interesting methods that I hope to expand upon in the future.
Perhaps you’ve seen something you like the look of but don’t have the resources to experiment? Get in touch and maybe I can help create it for you!

The pandemic wasn’t ALL bad. For some of us it slapped us in the face and told us to take a new path! Painting and drawing has always been my release from “normal” life. It’s a skill I was born with rather than taught, and for that reason, it has always been part of me rather than something I wanted to pursue as a career. My dad is a very skilled artist. He uses pen and ink and creates images using the stipple effect; the use of dots to build a picture, much like a pixelated image. I adopted his technique and developed it to incorporate colour.
